The Medical Receptionist,known as Patient Service Representative with RWJPE, works with practice physicians and support staff to ensure patient friendly and efficient operations. Duties include the preparation of needed information for patient visits and follow-up needs. The Patient Service Representative is also expected to assist in other activities as needed.

Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of two years experience in a clerical role requiredAbility to work independentlyMinimum of two years experience in a medical office setting required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong oral and written communication skills are essentialAttention to accuracy and detailDemonstrates a clear understanding of the importance of staff satisfactionKnowledge of medical terminology, preferredKnowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook is required
